Klein Tools and Altec Launch New Partnership
Altec to be master distributor of Klein Tools’ Bucket Work Center
CHICAGO, November 6, 2023 – Today, Klein Tools, a premier manufacturer of hand tools, announced a new partnership with Altec, a leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lights, signs and related contractor markets. Through this partnership, Altec will become the exclusive master distributor in North America for Klein Tools’ Bucket Work Center (BWC).

Often referred to as the “lineman’s office,” the Klein Tools BWC converts an ordinary aerial bucket into an innovative, modular work system that is customizable to each worker’s unique needs. The BWC can retrofit to most existing aerial bucket trucks, and through this new partnership, the system can also be included on new truck orders. Available as 1-man, 1.5-man and 2-man utility buckets, the BWC provides users with the ability to mix and match modules to customize their workspace. Plus, all BWC accessories are compatible with Klein Tools’ MODbox Mobile Workstation.
