ELIGIBILITY:

Open only to legal U.S. residents 21 years of age or older residing in the 50 United States (includes DC). Employees of Klein Tools or its affiliates, sales representatives, agencies, dealers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and promotional and other vendor agencies involved in the promotion, and the immediate family and households of all such employees, are NOT eligible. Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

HOW TO ENTER:

No purchase necessary. To enter, complete and submit the online entry form at www.kleintools.com including name, address, and e-mail address. For grand prize, first prize, second prize, and monthly and weekly prizes, entries must be submitted between October 15, 2007 and March 30, 2008. All entries must be received by March 30, 2008 by 11:59 pm (Central Time). Klein Tools Inc. is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, illegible, damaged, or misdirected entries. Only one entry per e-mail address/authorized e-mail account holder. Non-winning entries automatically roll over into the next monthly and weekly drawings.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:

One Grand Prize: 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi Truck (Specific make and model as determined by Sponsor; Estimated Retail Value: $32,795).

One First Prize: $1000 (retail value) worth of Klein Tools, winner’s choice from standard catalogs and offerings.

One Second Prize: $500 (retail value) worth of Klein Tools, winner’s choice from standard catalogs and offerings.

6 Monthly Prizes: Journeyman 150th anniversary products, sets of 6 tools
(Estimated Retail Value: $275).

24 Weekly Prize Packages: Klein Anniversary Gear including hats, shirts, key chains, coasters, etc. (Estimated Retail Value: $25).

33 prizes to be awarded (Total Estimated Retail Value: $36,545)

Klein Tools reserves the right to substitute prizes of the same approximate retail values. All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, licenses, title costs, registrations and insurance are the sole responsibility of the winner. Grand Prize will be delivered through a Dodge dealer near recipient as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  Prizes consist only of items specifically listed as part of the prizes. Prizes are not transferable; no prize substitutions or cash alternatives are allowed except at Klein Tools’ sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Klein Tools’ decisions on all matters relating to the sweepstakes are final.

SELECTION OF THE WINNERS:

Grand, First, and Second Prizes.  Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing on or about April 7, 2008, from among all eligible entries received. Past monthly and weekly winners are eligible. Winners will be notified by e-mail on or about April 7, 2008, and will be required to respond within five days, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Affidavits of eligibility, publicity release, and mutually acceptable liability releases will be required and must be returned within reasonable specified time or prize will be forfeited and alternate winner chosen. Grand Prize Winner must present a valid driver’s license and standard proof of insurance at time of returning executed affidavits. Failure to provide such will result in forfeiture of Grand Prize.

Monthly Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing at the close of each month from among all eligible entries received to date. Monthly winners will be notified by e-mail and prize or prize certificate mailed. If prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected.

Weekly Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing at the close of each week from among all eligible entries received to date. Weekly winners will be notified by e-mail and prize or prize certificate mailed. If prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected.
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winners’ consent that their name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data may be used for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation and without additional notice, compensation, or consent. RELEASE:

BY ENTERING, entrant agrees to accept and abide by the rules of this sweepstakes and agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this sweepstakes, rule interpretation or award of prize shall be submitted to Klein Tools, whose decision shall be binding and final. By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Klein Tools, participating dealers and retailers, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors and promotion and other vendor agencies, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service agencies, independent contractors, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of any of the above organizations from any injury, loss or damage to person, including death or property due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance or use/misuse of a prize, participation in any sweepstakes-related activity, or participation in the sweepstakes.

As to the Grand Prize, Sponsor will not provide any additional verbal or written warranties other than the standard written warranty statement provided with the vehicle. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer’s and/or service providers terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers and/or service providers for any warranty or guarantee claim.

Klein Tools is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of prizes. In any event Klein Tools is prevented from continuing with this sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the sweepstakes is severely undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, Klein Tools shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the sweepstakes without further obligation. If Klein Tools in its discretion elects to so abbreviate the sweepstakes, Klein Tools reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the prize from among all eligible entries received up to the date of such Force Majeure event. All entries are the property of Klein Tools and are not returnable.

Klein Tools assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections, whether human, technical or otherwise in nature. Klein Tools reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should virus, bugs or other causes beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of this contest. Klein Tools is not responsible for any injury or damage to any person’s computer or related equipment resulting from or relating to participation in this contest or downloading any material related to this contest. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute, the potential winner may be required to provide proof that he or she is the authorized holder of the identified e-mail account.
