Klein Tools Offers New Wire Twisting Pliers For Safety Wiring of Fasteners
|
The Klein® diagonal wire twisting pliers are available in a right-hand twist style (Models #12213 and #12215) and a reversible twist style (Models #12214 and #12216), that rotates both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Both styles come in two sizes, 6" and 9". The 9" version offers more twists per actuation than the 6" version. The jaws of the wire twisting pliers open by squeezing the handles to unlock the retractable spiral shaft sliding mechanism that runs through the center of the pliers to a hook-lock. When the safety wire is gripped in the jaws of the pliers, the pliers can be locked by squeezing the handles and pulling the slider mechanism to the rear of the pliers. The safety wire is twisted by pulling the knob and twist rod out from the pliers and letting the tool spin free. A spring return feature automatically retracts the twist rod to ease and speed work. Klein wire twisting pliers are designed for wire diameter capacities of 0.041" to 0.060". Wire twisting pliers are versatile tools used for safety wiring when fasteners are under conditions of severe vibration and in critical applications such as aviation, aerospace, automotive and construction. Manufactured from high carbon alloy steel for maximum strength, long life and durability, the wire twisting pliers are finished with black oxide to provide corrosion resistance. The tools carry a lifetime warranty. Klein Tools, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of professional hand tools. For more information, please contact: Klein Tools, P.O. Box 599033, Chicago, IL 60659.
