New
Line Of KleinŽ Protective Eyewear For Comfortable, All-Day Use,
Meets ANSI and OSHA Requirements |
CHICAGO, IL,
January 2003 - Klein Tools has introduced a new line of protective
eyewear that meets ANSI and OSHA requirements and are CSA certified.
Designed for comfort and all-day use, the new line features anti-fog,
scratch-resistant, anti-UV lens coatings; adjustable temple lengths;
and stylish wrap-around designs.
All three of the lens coatings are permanently bonded. The anti-fog
coating minimizes lens fogging in almost any environment. The
anti-scratch coating provides superior scratch resistance. The
anti-UV coating blocks 99.9% of UVA and UVB radiation.
The adjustable temple lengths provide a customized fit, while
the temple end-holes allow for easy lanyard attachment. There
are three styles of protective eyewear available: standard, frameless
and contemporary.
The standard design features wrap-around lenses for clear peripheral
vision and eye protection. A frame and lens ventilation channel
reduces moisture build-up and fogging of the lens. The design
also includes a soft, comfortable brow guard for impact energy
absorption. Available colors are: black frame/clear lens, royal
blue frame/clear lens and black frame/brown tint lens.
The lightweight, frameless design features frameless, wrap-around
lenses for unobstructed vision and coverage. The lightweight design
provides all-day comfort. Available colors are: slate blue frame/clear
lens and slate blue frame/brown tint lens.
The contemporary design features a contemporary wrap-around design
for exceptional coverage and vision. This model features a unique
lens with a side shield design for maximum eye protection and
a universal molded-in nose piece. Available color: black with
clear lens.
The standard and frameless designs are available with brown-tinted
lenses for outdoor use. Both styles meet the traffic signal recognition
requirements of ANSI Z80.3-1996. All models also meet the requirements
of CSA Z94.3-1992 and OSHA 1910.133.
