Fox Business News Talks Manufacturing with Tom Klein

If you were flipping through channels last week and happened to stumble upon Fox Business Channel (or if you were following us on Facebook or Twitter), then you might’ve gotten a quick glimpse inside our manufacturing facility in Lincolnshire, IL.

Fox Business News highlighted their Friday manufacturing segments with a series of quick live broadcasts from Klein Tools’ Lincolnshire plant. That is where we make screwdrivers, nut drivers, and other products.

A Fox Business News reporter was also on hand to gather some important manufacturing information from Klein Tools President Tom Klein.

As Tom Klein mentioned to Fox Business News, US manufacturing is very important to Klein Tools. You can learn more about Klein’s commitment to US manufacturing by clicking the link above or go to www.kleintools.com.

The Lincolnshire facility is one of Klein’s seven US manufacturing facilities. The others are in Elk Grove Village, IL; Mansfield, TX; Fort Smith, AR; Cedar Rapids, IA; Rockford, MI; and Bolivar, NY.

Tools of the Trade did a really great virtual tour of the Lincolnshire plant.

And here is a really cool blog post about Klein Plastics, our Rockford, MI facility. Not only do they make our fish tapes, insulated screwdrivers, and Splinter Guard™ Fish and Glow Rods, they also have a very unique way of recycling some of their scrap material. Check out the blog to see what I’m talking about!

We plan to highlight our other manufacturing plants in future blog posts, so stay tuned!
