Tools Introduces Rapi-Driv® Screwdrivers With Square-Recess
Tip, Cushion-Grip Handle
|
CHICAGO, IL
— August 2003 — Klein Tools has added two Rapi-Driv®
screwdrivers with square-recess tips to its line of professional
hand tools. Available with a No. 1 or No. 2 square-recess tip,
the new screwdrivers (Cat. No. 691-6 and Cat. No. 692-6) expand
the Klein offering of rotary-drive tools, which already includes
slotted and Phillips-tip screwdrivers.
The crank-action handle of the Rapi-Driv tool spins screws fast
with just a slight twist of the wrist. The design allows quick,
easy, one-handed operation. The shaft rotates in the handle to
save time and effort, especially on long-threaded screws such
as those used in switch plates and light fixtures.
Both screwdrivers feature Klein’s comfortable Cushion-Grip®
handle. The soft, black sleeve interlocks permanently with the
slotted plastic handle. Its deep-ribbed design and cushioning
enable greater turning power and comfort. The grip also resists
oil, gas and water.
The handle ends are color-coded for easy identification and selection
of the proper tip—green indicates a No. 1 square-recess
and red indicates the popular No. 2 square-recess.
Like all Klein screwdrivers, the Rapi-Driv models are made of
high-quality, tempered steel that has been carefully heat treated
for maximum strength and durability. The screwdriver shafts have
a black-oxide finish for durability and rust protection.
Klein Tools is a leading manufacturer of professional hand tools
and occupational protective equipment. For more information on
