Recessed Can Light Tool Set From Klein Tools Installs

– November 2005 – Klein Tools now offers a recessed
can light tool set (Cat. No. 65020) that is designed to install
recessed can lights easily and quickly. The set includes a new
6" Cushion-Grip spring tool (Cat. No. ST6) and a 1/4"
hollow shaft stubby nut driver (Cat. No. 610-1/4).
The 6" Cushion-Grip Spring Tool (Cat. No. ST6) is perfect
for attaching or releasing trim springs. The unique C-shaped tip
securely holds the spring, and the long 6" shaft makes attaching
it to the fixture fast and easy. No more getting snapped or losing
springs.
Also included in the set is a 1/4" Stubby Cushion-Grip Nut
Driver (Cat. No. 610-1/4). The stubby is sized perfectly to reach
easily inside the can to loosen or tighten those hidden ceiling
height adjustment screws. At just 3-1/2" long, the stubby
even fits inside 4" fixtures.

Spring Tools

Tools are Cushion-Grip handled tools used for installing and removing
springs. The new spring tools are available in two shank sizes:
4" (Cat. No. ST4) and 6" (Cat. No. ST6).
This handy tool reaches into tight spaces to hook, attach or release
springs. The tool’s unique C-shaped tip grabs the spring
and holds it securely without damaging it. Spring tools can be
used for brakes shoes, headlights, solenoids, relays, can light
trim springs and a variety of other applications.
Double wings on the shaft give a solid, twist-resistant anchor,
so that the tool can be used to push, pull or twist springs. The
shaft is chrome-plated to help resist corrosion. A Cushion-Grip
handle gives users more comfort and a better grip.
