Klein Tools Offers New Hand Tools for HVAC Contractors
LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL – January 2008 – Klein Tools recently expanded its product offering to the HVAC market with 33 new SKUs of the following hand tools: tube cutters, tube flaring/swaging tools, tube benders, seaming/folding tools, crimping tools, cutting/notching tools, duct stretching/slitting tools, hammers and sheet metal accessories and fasteners.
The following new products have been added to Klein Tools’ line of HVAC hand tools:
- Tube cutters for 1/8-inch to 5/8-inch tubing and 1/8-inch to 1-1/8-inch tubing.
- Inner-outer tube reamer.
- Tube flaring tools for 1/8-inch to 3/4-inch tube at 45 degrees, and 3/16-inch to 5/8-inch tube at 45 degrees.
- 6-in-1 swaging tool.
- Tube benders - swivel handle benders that cut 1/2-inch, 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch tube, a 4- in-1 bender that bends 1/4-inch, 5/16-inch and 3/8-inch tube, and a three- and eight-piece spring bender set.
- Seaming tools – 3-inch straight, 6-inch straight and 3-inch offset, and straight and offset seamer tongs.
- Folding tools – 12 inches, 18 inches and 24 inches.
- Crimping tool – five-blade crimper.
- Cutting and notching tools – 13-inch tinner combination snips, hand notcher and 3/8-inch snap lock punch.
- Duct straightening/slitting tools – duct stretcher and duct piercing tool.
- Hammers – setting and riveting hammer.
- Sheet metal accessories and fasteners – 8-inch x 3/4-inch slotted 1/4-inch hex screw and 8-inch x 1/2-inch slotted 1/4-inch hex screw.
A new 28-page HVAC miniature pocket-sized catalog with color photos is also now available, showcasing these new hand tools and existing Klein hand tools for the HVAC contractor. Measuring 3-1/4 inches x 8 inches, the small size allows for it to be easily stored in a shirt pocket, tool box or glove compartment for easy reference. The catalog is indexed, providing an easy-to-read overview.
